After completing 6 months training with the London School of Grooming she opened Hair of the Dog Groomers, and now with an extensive customer base Hair of the Dog Groomers have proved to her that the choice she made and her passion for dogs has been a worthy change of direction in life.

Hair of the Dog Groomers is a salon based dog grooming business, it was opened in 2005 by Denise Jones. Denise spent most of her life surrounded by dogs, having worked with them for many years in the past she feels she has a special relationship with our four legged friends, feeling completely at ease with all breeds.
Denise’s philosophy was to open a business that catered for all dog owners where as the well being of their dogs was paramount in her business, a quote from Denise is “I always wanted to provide a happy working environment for myself but more importantly for the dogs I groom, that is why when any customer comes to me they will see that I have a warm and welcoming business where the dogs are able to relax and feel confident with there surroundings and the experience that they encounter is an enjoyable one which makes for a great working practice. If the dogs are happy then you know that they will go back to their owners happy and not stressed, this is my ethos which I know is a tried and tested formula in my business”.
